Mary and Matthew.

I just finished the Christmas Special of Downton Abbey and my heart cannot handle the emotions I have for these two wonderful, darling characters. Goodness. This TV show is one of the best I've ever seen. It's tied with Sherlock at the moment which is no small feat. And to think that while my mother was watching it, I wasn't interested.

It's just too splendid for words. And Matthew Crawley. You charmer. I'd marry you. And the soundtrack, if I could.

I don't think this is done yet. I'm not entirely sure what's lacking, I just know that I want more of a background for them. But I wanted to put up a version of it as it is now, while I like it, in case the backgrounding doesn't work out. The lines across their faces are the guidelines I used to get the likenesses down. I'm trying to find an easy way of getting portraits down quickly, and I kind of liked the Picasso-like result, so I decided to keep them. Very happy with that decision.
